CYCLING

Based on an idea from Vélo Québec, the Route Verte has been under development since 1995, with the cooperation of the Québec ministry of transportation as well as numerous regional partners. It includes 5,000 kilometres (over 3,000 miles) of bikeways linking the regions of Quebec.
